Discover how the Rum Museum is and make your complete guided circuit, in Old Havana, Cuba

Rum Museum

The Rum Museum of the Havana Club Foundation is located next to the colonial Plaza de San Francisco de Asís, just in front of the port of Havana.

It is not necessary to be a drinker to enjoy this fabulous museum, since visiting it will allow you to fully immerse yourself in part of the Cuban culture. The museum has an interesting guided circuit, where the complex process of manufacturing rum with old machines is exposed. The circuit is available in Spanish, English, French, German and Italian and explains the whole process, from the elaboration of white oak barrels, to its fermentation and aging, through a model where a sugar power plant is reproduced in detail.

Rum Museum

The ticket price includes a tasting at the end. The museum also houses a bar and a shop, but those who understand the subject usually meet at the Dos Hermanos Bar, located right next to the museum.
